These handsome garden tools are hand forged by artisan Tuli Fischer in Montana. Abrasive resistant steel comprises the working body while the handles are turned from black walnut, finished with marine spar varnish. Each tool is built individually using traditional blacksmithing techniques; the joinery consists of solid steel rivets and every tool is set into its own hand turned handle creating a long-lasting garden tool with no welds.

The Collection

Garden Rake | 12″ L x 5″ W

This elegant Rake is one of Tuli’s initial three designs; clearly it’s standing the test of time. The side tines of the rake are great for working with ornamental grasses and other weeds that have shallow rhizomes or runner-type growth and are elegantly formed in a beautiful shape to optimize breaking up dirt and attacking weeds. Solid steel rivets are set horizontally to the direction of pressure providing additional stability for the rake.

Garden Hoe | 12″ L x 3” W

This curvaceous hoe provides a perfect angle for swinging into the garden, pulling back soil and shifting space for new plantings. The tool is carefully balanced to provide good momentum when getting ‘into the swing’ of things. Weed around vegetables, dig holes and draw out your rows for seedings. Squared Garden Hoe | 12″ L x 2″ W

This garden hoe has a squared-off head making it a great choice for beds that require a little extra help - it will make good work of unwanted weeds infiltrating your gardens and the shape of the head makes it easier to resharpen. Just like the other garden hoe, the curve of this tool creates a great physical balance that just feels great to hold.

Perennial Trowel | 13" L x 2" W

Sometimes called a tulip trowel, this narrow trowel has a traditional shape with teeth cut into one side which helps with the trowels ability to maneuver through hard soil and around roots. The narrow shape is very useful for working with perennials, planting, transplanting and dividing bulbs. It is also an excellent choice for urban gardeners and container gardening and could also be utilized for edging beds.
